Well, it’s not Photoshop CS for free, but Adobe plans to release a cut down version of Photoshop as an online web application. The application will be ad supported, so free to use.

It won’t have the power of Photoshop CS2 (or even Photoshop Elements) but could be a rival to the newly released Picnik. This can only be a good thing for photographers worldwide, as more competition means more features available for free!

For serious editing work, you’ll still need a more powerful program, but for quick fixes, these online programs will be fabulous!
