Bugs, spiders and small creatures

Introduction
Here in Australia, we have lots of things that can kill you. This week, I want you to go take some photos of them.Just kidding, of course. Despite the unfortunate reputation of our local bugs and spiders, there are actually only a few species that have bites that could directly cause death—the funnel web, the redback spider (a close relative of the American black widow), and the paralysis tick. So don't take photos of them, or if you do (redback spiders aren't aggressive and actually make great subjects), take reasonable precautions. Wear gloves, get information about the species and its behavior so you'll know exactly what to do and what not to do, and shoot at your own risk.
