Picnics and Gatherings

Introduction
There's really no better time than summer to schedule a company picnic, a family reunion or another outdoor gathering. The weather is almost always agreeable (if you're OK with a little heat), the kids are out of school and everyone is feeling those long, lazy days of summer. It's a great time for food and conversation and getting to know your coworkers, or getting reacquainted with old friends. It's also a great time for taking pictures.
This week's challenge is to photograph a picnic or gathering in a way that emphasizes the season. If you don't have a big event on your calendar, this is a great excuse to organize a smaller one. Gather up your kids or grandkids, pack a picnic lunch and head out to the local park.
